I'm all about the definition. I think in the world we live in, pretty much all power ends up coming from the English Language and how we bend it, weave it, and pollute it. Being PC (or Politically Correct for all you PC people out there) is alot like putting antibiotics into...well, everything. You may even catch me reffering to all things PC as Antibiotics. It's designed to make ugly words and to throw everyone off-guard. You can't complain about something that you can't even conceptualize; that's why there's so much power in definition. If one has to sterilize language by making ugly words or villanizing certain phrases for the latest PC-o'-the-month, then there is no stability in the culture based on that language.

Emotions are also something that don't hurt for definition. Sure, all you kids might think that trying to define love or hate or fear is like trying to hold a moon beam in your hand (cudo's for anyone who is remotely exposed to mainstream media and catches that reference)(Oh, catch! A punny!), and destroys the soul of the passion felt. Well, by defining emotion, an individual can begin to grasp at whatever emotional turmoil facing them, and maybe can estimate the depth, bredth and source of the feeling. Feelings, by the way, are alot like rivers. They may be very similar in basic function, but must be named and can be estimated.

Where was I? Oh, right, definitions. As soon as I dig out a real dictionary to back up my rant, I will. Until then, these 'fairies' shall be quite dependant on Google. Yay, interweb.
